We are proud to invite you for the second joint scientific meeting of BelSECT and NeSECC on Saturday, November 16th, 2019 at the MECC in Maastricht. For the first time ever, this day is organized in close collaboration with the Dutch society of thoracic surgeons (NVT) and the Belgian Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (BACTS).
The scientific committees of all 4 associations have put together an inspiring program in a relaxed atmosphere. Please find this program attached to this e-mail! All 4 associations are strongly convinced that in addition to spreading knowledge, maintaining mutual cohesion between departments and individual professionals is at least equally important!
After the opening ceremony by our two presidents, an international scientific program will be presented with the latest insights and future perspectives on perfusion technology during ECLS.
During the afternoon session, the so-called “Speed Date with the Industry” will take place where a dozen of companies will be giving a scientific update of their latest product lines, during short, small-group sessions. This format was previously rolled out with great success in Breda, and is also included in the program in Maastricht, at the request of many.

Although this meeting is completely free of charge for all BelSECT and NeSECC members, registration is mandatory
